AFPPANP holds annual CME Conferences that provide quality education and networking for PAs and NPs. We always strive to find the latest and most relevant lectures, informative and interactive workshops, along with plenty of quality time networking with vendors and exhibitors. 

Public Policy/Advocacy

Our society offers contribution to the strong advocacy programs centered on assuring that PA and NP voices are being heard, and making sure we always keep our members up to date on issues in the public health arena.

Membership Levels

Affiliate - An Affiliate member is a person who is ineligible for any of the below categories and wishes to associate with the organization and is approved by the Board of Directors. Affiliate members shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor but shall not be entitled to vote or to hold office.

Associate - An Associate member is a person engaged in selling products or other services to Advanced Practice Clinicians or an individual employed by a government agency who does not qualify for any other membership categories. Associate members shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor but shall not be entitled to vote or to hold office.

Fellow - A Fellow member is a an accredited PA or NP program graduate who shall be employed within, or participant of Family Practice. Fellow members shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor, to vote, and hold office.

Institutional Membership 

Physician - A Physician member is a licensed physician who wishes to associate with the organization. He or she shall have the privilege of the floor but shall not be entitled to vote or hold office.

Student - A Student member is a person enrolled in a accredited Advanced Practice Clinician program. Student members shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor but have no vote or hold any office except for their elected Student Representative. The Student Representative shall be elected by his or her peers and enjoy all rights and privileges including formal vote.

Sustaining - A Sustaining member is an Advanced Practice Clinician eligible for fellow membership who has chosen not to practice in the Advanced Practice Clinician profession. Sustaining members shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor. Sustaining members may not vote on AFPPANP matters or hold office.
